Gina Wallace Enterprises, Inc. is the exclusive North
American distributor for Essential Nail Products,
Ltd. (also known as Essential Nails), who is the creator
and manufacturer of the Nail
and Airbrushing course/kits and the one-of-a-kind Nail Trainer
practice hand which is included in the Nail
Extension COMBO course/kits.
HISTORY OF
THE NAIL TRAINER PRACTICE HAND:
In 1994, UK inventors John Grace and
Dave Simmons began developing a method by which nail students
could practice the skills and techniques they needed to become
more proficient....thus enabling them to offer their services
to the general public quicker, safer and to a high standard. Inventing
the Nail Trainer practice hand was a 2 year effort, requiring
many modifications along the way. What you receive today
is the result of many veterans in the nail industry (including
Gina Wallace) who have put forth their recommendations and
suggestions for improvement. The Nail
Trainer practice hand is now the leading product recognized
throughout the UK and EUROPE for classroom based training and
is making a HUGELY positive impact in training centers
in the USA and Canada. Designer Nails (distributors
for Creative Nail Design Products) insist on utilizing the
Nail Trainer in all their classrooms, along with many other
colleges and training institutes! Why? Because this unique
tool enables students to learn their new skills at a much
faster rate because it prevents them from searching for "live
models" to practice on. In addition, it allows the
students to focus on their tasks "at hand" instead of being
distracted by live models. And they can take their Nail

HISTORY OF
ESSENTIAL NAILS:
With the invention and perfection of
the Nail Trainer practice hand, Essential Nail Products, Ltd.,
was born. Today, the company is still directed by John
Grace and Dave Simmons and is headquartered in Suffolk, England,
but the company now employs a large staff of full-time
team members who distribute their products world wide.
HISTORY OF
HOME LEARN NAIL AND AIRBRUSHING COURSE/KITS:
In 1997, John Grace approached
American, Gina Wallace (a
3-time national competition winner) at a Nail Industry Exhibition
while she was performing live demonstrations for attendees. (Gina's
biography is listed HERE.) After
the exhibition, John visited Gina to discuss development
of distance training nail courses for students. Gina
was very impressed with the professional image of the company
but much more impressed with the outstanding possibilities
of a training course that could be accomplished at home or
in a salon utilizing the benefits of a Nail Trainer practice
hand. So the wheels were set in motion. The first to
be completed was the Acrylic Tip/Overlay nail extension
course/kit which took over a week just to shoot the 2 hour
training video that you see in the course today. Every
consideration was given to achieving a professional training
video with easy-to-understand, step-by-step information. All
related products contained in the course were quality tested
and approved for insertion. Over the next year, four
more nail courses were completed, all with the same high standards
set forth by Essential Nails and Gina Wallace.
The airbrushing course/kit was the last
to be developed and completed, yet airbrushing is now
the most "in demand" course/kit of all that are on
offer! Technicians have found that adding airbrushing
to their list of services DOES prove worthwhile because it
increases their monthly income dramatically!
In 1999, Gina Wallace

site. With a library of nail industry related pages,
it is an invaluable source of information for nail students,
nail technicians and anyone wanting to learn more about nails. In
January 2001, Gina launched a sister site called http://www.homelearncourses.com/ , with http://www.nailtrainerhand.com following in October, 2004.

When Gina Wallace moved back "home" to
the United States in early 2000, she continued to serve as
Essential Nail's Principal International
Educator, but was
so proud of the popularity of these Home Learn nail training
course/kits that she wanted to PERSONALLY bring them to the
USA and Canada rather than having a "unknown" distrubutor(s)
sell them. Controlling the quality and production of
them were paramount in her mind....and the only way to ensure
this was to establish Gina Wallace Enterprises, Inc. (GWEI).
